Michael "Meathead" Stivic is a fictional character from the 1970s American sitcom, All in the Family. Played by Rob Reiner, Meathead is the liberal, intellectual son-in-law of Archie and Edith Bunker.

Meathead, a college student (and later graduate with a Master's in Sociology), frequently clashes with his conservative, blue-collar father-in-law, Archie. Their political and social disagreements form the central comedic conflict of the show, often highlighting the generational and ideological divides of the era. These battles, though humorous, touch upon serious issues like racism, sexism, and the Vietnam War.

Married to Archie's daughter, Gloria, Meathead's relationship with her is also a significant aspect of his character.
